God Word is impressed at the end of day.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 46:10

We collected $82.00 in our chapel service last week for Project Timothy. We set a goal of $500.00 for our first quarter and are at $298.50 of the goal. Our last collection for this mission will be October 21.
2023-2024 Yearbooks:
Each student in the school from grade 1 to 8 should have received a yearbook from the last school year. If your child did not receive one, please let us know and we will be sure to send one home with them.
Community Impact Event hosted by Good Shepherd:
Come to Pizza Ranch tomorrow, Monday, September 30th from 4-8pm for Good Shepherd Preschool’s Community Impact Fundraising Event. Eat supper, buy gift cards, and support the preschool as they raise funds for new playground equipment and protective rubber mulch for the playground area.
NWEA Testing
Grades 3-8 will be participating in testing starting this week.
-Grades 5-8 will take care of this on Tuesday. Please be sure your students’ chromebook is charged and ready to go for this. They should also have their charging cord along on Tuesday to use if their chromebook is dead or in the process of dying due to use that day.
-Grades 3-4 will do this testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Please be sure your children are fueled up and ready to go for these days. A great breakfast and lunch will help them immensely.
School payments
Monthly school payment notifications will be sent home this week. Please stay current with your payments to school. Thank you.

Area Reformation Service:
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., there will be a Reformation Service held at St. Mark’s in Watertown. What a great opportunity to gather with other Lutherans and celebrate the Reformation.
SCRIP News:
There are $25, $50 and $100 Walmart gift cards that are unfortunately non-reloadable because they have sat in the inventory too long. Come to the office to purchase and help SCRIP deplete the inventory so new reloadable cards can be on hand.
Faculty/Student Volleyball Game:
The A-Team volleyball players will be taking on the Faculty in a volleyball game on Friday, October 4. This game will start at 2:30. If any parents or family members want to attend, we ask that you enter through door W3. This event was new last year, and everyone had a lot of fun.
