Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.

Singing Schedule:
Today at the 10:00 service children in grades K-8 sing. Our service will be at Lakeview Park in Beaver Dam by the shelter. Church picnic and fellowship to follow.
Children’s Choir is scheduled to sing September 29 at 9:00 at Good Shepherd.
Parking lot news:
Please do not park by the playground with your vehicles. Spread the word to family members that may not receive this newsletter.
Students that ride their bikes to school are asked to walk their bikes out of the parking lot. There is a large safety factor involved in this procedure. Thank you.
Mission Collection:
We collected $87.00 in our chapel service last week for Project Timothy. We set a goal of $500.00 for our first quarter goal. This brings us to a total of $148.00 for the quarter. Our last collection for this mission will be October 21.
Picture Day:
Picture day is scheduled for Monday, September 23. Emails are automatically sent to families with ordering information. Information should be in your email from Lifetouch. It has the access code and ways to order online. A paper order form will be coming home this Friday, September 13.

Facebook:
If you are one who uses Facebook, consider the following: Visibility is important in this world. Every time you check in somewhere, someone’s curiosity is piqued. Consider checking in to St. Stephens’ Lutheran Church and School whenever you are in our building for an event–whether a sporting event, forensics, or even weekly worship. This will allow others to see our Church and School and the events that go on here. Also, there are pictures of events posted here to show others what we do as a church and school. Sometimes events are live streamed as well.
SCRIP:
Our school does have a SCRIP Program. Scrip is a simple program where you buy gift cards for everyday places, and school and you receive a benefit.
Here is a link to the FAQ page of the program: SCRIP

If you have any questions, you can contact Jessica Roll at SCRIP@Saintstephen.org
SCRIP is a great way to support your school.
Blessings on your week.
