Funeral Shirley Dinsch was called home to heaven on September 21, age 85. Funeral services were held October 1st here at St. Stephen’s Church.
Gift We acknowledge with thanks, a gift given by Allan & Shirley Kohls in thankfulness for their recent 45th wedding anniversary. ($ toward the choir room sound system and $ toward a digital sign in front of church)

Fall WELS/ELS Singles events-Hiking at Parfrey’s Glen
Spend some time outside at one of the most beautiful places in Wisconsin! Meet at Parfrey’s Glen (E1377 CR-DL, Merrimac WI) on Saturday October 8 at 2:30 pm. It is a hike of about .75 of a mile to the waterfall. Questions? Please contact Rachel Fritz at rachelfritz@yahoo.com.
Mission Fest Join us TODAY for our Mission Festival Sunday. Prof. Jon Bare will be our guest Pastor. After our services we will have a potluck lunch in the basement. Bring a dish to pass and join us for a time of fellowship. Prof. Bare will also give a presentation on various world missions.
Bus Drivers Needed for Lakeside Lutheran If you have early morning and/or afternoons free, please consider driving bus and transporting students for your Lakeside Lutheran High School. Talk to any of our current drivers, and they will tell you how much they enjoy driving bus. We will train new drivers for the appropriate driver’s license. Hospital Reminder Your pastors love to bring God’s comforting Word to our hospitalized members! All hospitals however, cannot let the church office know unless you call us or ask them to call us. Please do not hesitate to call the church office at 920-885-3309.
Fall Festival Our Fall Festival is quickly approaching. Fall Festival has many different activities for the whole family. This event gives us an opportunity to open up our campus to our community. Join us for a Trunk N’ Treat, games, food, and fellowship. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with this event. If you have questions, please speak with Pastor Dorn or email him at pastorsdorn@gmail.com. Sign-up sheets are out in the entry and ramp of the church for those who would like to volunteer in various ways to help make this a success. Mark your calendars! Advent by Candlelight is December 4th The title of this years’ program is Tidings of Comfort and Joy. All women of the congregation age 18 and over are invited to be table hostesses or guests. The program is worship and fellowship to help us prepare for the Christmas season. There will be sign-up sheets for table hostesses, guests, male servers, people to set up and take down soon. Rehearsals for Candlelight Choristers will start on October 13 in the choir room after senior choir rehearsal. December 4th, activities will start at 2:00pm with meet and greet, 2:20pm, dessert and coffee will be served. Program will start at 3:00pm in the church.
