Bible Studies

  • Sunday Bible Class – “Timely Topics, God’s Response”

A new Bible Class series will begin on Monday, November 29. We will take a look at “Timely Topics, God’s Response”. There are many things happening around us in the world. The world strays away from God’s Word calling it freedom. How are we to respond? For the weeks leading up to Christmas join us as we see those topics the world pushes our way, and God’s response to those topics. We meet on Monday at 7:00 PM, and Wednesday at 11:00 AM, in the church basement. Please join us!

  • Fall Bible Study “Thessalonians”

We will work through the two letters of the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians, under a heading: “Encouragement and Guidance for Christians Living in Difficult Times and Places.”  We meet Mondays at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. (same lesson at each) in the church basement.  Please join us!

Advent By Candlelight will be held on December 5th, 2021.  There is a sign-up sheet at both church entrances for any of our ladies and guests who would like to attend the event.  Please sign up by November 28th if you intend to attend.  If you have a seat request or hostess preference or food allergy, please note that on the sign-up sheet.  If you would like to be a table hostess, decorating a table and providing a dessert, please indicate that on the sign-up sheet also.

Thanksgiving We Christians have so many reasons to observe a National Holiday in a spiritual way.  The Lord has been good to our nation, our homes, and our church. The works of the Lord are great and glorious; His Name is worthy of praise!  Thanksgiving services present an opportunity to offer that praise.  Worship on
Wednesday evening, November 24th, at 6:30pm or our Thanksgiving Day Service, November 25th, at 10:00am.  Come and have God’s Word renew your attitude of gratitude to our Maker and Preserver.

Joint Advent Service Our annual joint Advent service with Beaver Dam/Juneau/Horicon/Lowell/Good Shepherd will be held here at St. Stephen’s on Wednesday, December 1 at 6:30pm. There will be devotions by the pastors, and special music by the choirs. Please join us for this special service.

Decorating For Thanksgiving And Christmas:

Your help is needed to add Advent/Christmas beauty. Please meet at the front of church (ramp door will be open) on the following days:

  • Saturday, November 27th, 9:00am – Take down Thanksgiving decorations – Put up Advent window decorations – New Hymnal distribution
  • Sunday, November 28th, 11:00am – Put up/Decorate 12 ft. Christmas trees (strong men encouraged to participate)

Any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Rudy Gaytan at 887-3083.

Ladies’ Aid We will once again hold our annual Christmas gathering as a Christian fellowship time for our members as well as thank you to our pastoral, office, and custodial staff. It will be on Thursday, December 2nd with a luncheon at noon. This will be followed by a program at 1:00 by the Junior Choir. There will be a special collection taken that afternoon which will be donated to the St. Stephen’s School Music department for possibly additional tone chimes, a sound system for the music room, or as best used for their program. We look forward to this time together. Thanks be to God.
