Welcome Visitors If you are visiting today, we welcome you in our Risen and Living Savior, Jesus!

  • Please let us know you worshiped with us by introducing yourself to a Pastor.
  • If visiting, please don’t feel obligated to give an offering. St. Stephen’s members express thankfulness to God through their voluntary offerings which then support the congregation’s work.

Video on Facebook and YouTube

Sunday worship will be streamed on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ststephensbd/) and YouTube. Go to www.ssbdwels.com and click on “YouTube” and select St. Stephen’s Worship, Devotions or Bible Study.

Bible Studies

  • Spring Bible Study “Book of Acts”. The new Christian church was filled with ups and downs. God worked to bring great numbers into his fold. The world also tried to keep God’s Word from spreading. One thing we do see, God blessed his church tremendously. Join us for a study of the book of Acts to learn about the growth of God’s church after his ascension. To join us for in-person Bible class, join us Mondays at 7:00pm and Wednesdays at 11:00am.  Pastors are recording the Monday session and putting it on YouTube, Wednesdays at noon. An archive of classes including all the previous chapters are available on Youtube for those who want to review or who haven’t attended and want to catch up and join the study in person or online.

Area WELS Seniors All members 55 and older are invited to
St. Stephen’s of Beaver Dam, on Tuesday, May 11th.  A pot-luck meal will be served at noon in the church basement.  After a devotion by a WELS pastor, Sara Zondag will speak about Thai Village.  That is a non-profit organization started with the assistance of WELS Kingdom Workers.  They share the Gospel with the low-income communities of northern Thailand.
All are welcome.  A free-will offering is taken.

Pastor Hospital Visits – Hospitals are starting to “loosen up” a little bit regarding visitors.  So, a reminder: if you or a
St. Stephen’s member you know is hospitalized, please let us know at the church office so our Pastors can provide spiritual care through God’s comforting Word.   (920)885-3309 or  office@saintstephen.org.

Art Walk Come stroll around the “park” TODAY and view the art of our PreK – 8th grade artists.  The “park” will be set up in the gym of school, from 8:30am until noon.  All are welcome!

PTS Book Fair Last Day! The PTS is hosting a Book Fair in the church basement.  A wide variety of books will be set out on TODAY from 8:30 AM-Noon. This is open for anyone. Bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, and anyone else interested in picking up a good book. Sales from the book fair help our teachers fill their classrooms with books.

PTS/Awards/Band/Choir Night will be Monday, May 24 at 6pm.  On this evening, the choir and band will perform some numbers they have prepared throughout the year.  Some band solos will happen.  The PTS will have a short presentation and elections.  Mr. Johnson will discuss a little bit of what it means to be in band and how the program works.  We will give certificates to children in grades 5-8 for participation of events in our year.  There will also be something dedicated to our 8th grade students.  Even though this sounds like it is geared towards 5-8 grade, all parents and students are welcome to attend and see the wonderful gifts of our students on display.

Athletic Department Request Due to lack of fans and concession sales (Covid restrictions), the School Athletic Fund has been nearly depleted.  The school is in need of new equipment to continue providing quality opportunities for our students. If you are willing to make a donation, please drop donations off at the office during regular hours or place donation in an envelope marked School-Athletic Dept. and place it in the offering boxes.  Checks can be written to St. Stephen’s Athletic Fund. Thank you.
