Bible Studies

  • Winter Bible Study “Book of Acts”. The new Christian church was filled with ups and downs. God worked to bring great numbers into his fold. The world also tried to keep God’s Word from spreading. One thing we do see, God blessed his church tremendously. Join us for a study of the book of Acts to learn about the growth of God’s church after his ascension. To join us for in-person Bible class, join us Mondays at 7:00pm and Wednesdays at 11:00am.  Pastors are recording the Monday session and putting it on YouTube, Wednesdays at noon. An archive of classes including all the previous chapters are available on Youtube for those who want to review or who haven’t attended and want to catch up and join the study in person or online.

Footsteps of Paul Tour Informational Meeting. Would you like to see the sights where Paul preached? Pastor Dorn will hold an informational meeting about a tour going to Greece in 2022. If you are interested, please attend on March 11 at 6:30 PM. Informational brochures are also available in church or ask Pastor Dorn with any questions you might have.

Thank You to those who have given time and energy to clearing snow from the church and school sidewalks this winter.  Though the snow might not be done, we’re nearing Spring and we offer those men our thanks.  Regular volunteers have been Steve Wolfram, John Dahl, Mike Schultz, Gary Tietz, Stan Hintz, Brian Tietz, & Chuck Staab.

Spaghetti Supper for Eighth Grade Class Trip
The eighth-graders are raising money to go to the Ark and Creation Museum for their class trip in April 19th-23rd. The To-Go Spaghetti Supper will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on March 14th, 2021 from 4:30 PM until 7 PM.

Each meal will contain spaghetti with meatballs, bread, salad with ranch on the side, and a dessert.  Please pay on the day of the event by check (made out to St. Stephen’s) or cash. Just pull in and an 8th grader will bring the meal out to you!

LWMS Door Offering will be collected at the door after services on March 14 & 21.  These offerings support special WELS mission projects chosen annually by our LWMS Beaver Dam Circuit.
