Bible Study

• Sunday Bible Class Please join us in our continuous study of, “The Life of Abraham”.  Abraham’s life was filled with highs and lows. At times Abraham wondered how God would fulfill his promises. God did not disappoint Abraham. God constantly repeated those promises to Abraham to strengthen his faith. Even though Abraham did not see fulfillment of all those promises during his life, his faith held to God’s Word. Come and join us for this opportunity to grow in our faith together. Families are welcome to attend!

Quarterly Voters Meeting will be held in the church basement on July 24, 2022 at 11:15am.  All male members, age 18 and older, are encouraged to participate and all members of the congregation are invited to attend.

If you would like to give your donation online, go to www.ssbdwels.com and click on “Online Giving.”  Once an account has been created, financial institutions are able to be linked and one time or reoccurring donations can be made.  There are over 100 individuals & families that now use online giving!

Alpha Resource Center Ice Cream Social:  You are invited to the Alpha Resource Center’s 2022 Ice Cream Social! Join us on National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 17th starting at 10:00 am in the commons at St. Mark’s in Watertown for ice cream, some great food, assorted homemade desserts, and fellowship!

Vacation Bible School Our Vacation Bible School is only one week away. We look forward to welcoming all the kids to learn about God’s plan of salvation. Join us for songs, crafts, snacks, and most importantly learning about Jesus. All youth from 3 years old to 6th grade are invited to attend. We have an online registration that is open. Look at our Facebook page and website (ssbdwels.com) for those links.
We also need volunteers to help this week go smoothly. Please check the sign-up sheets to see how you can help by donating items for snacks. You can also help be a leader during the week. We need help leading the kids around from place to place or at various stations. If you sign-up to help volunteer during the week, please come to the volunteer meeting on Sunday, July 24, at 6:30 PM, in the room above the church office. The door by the church office will be open that night.

WELS Informational Booth will again be operated at the Dodge County Fair, August 17-21. Board of Education Seeks to Hire Aide     Our school is looking to hire an aide to help in the kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms. Applicants should be 1) be a member of St. Stephen’s or a sister WELS congregation; 2) have some experience working with young children either in a day care, pre-school, or elementary school setting.   The position would be for approximately 20 hours per week at a pay rate of $13/ an hour.  Application forms may be picked up weekdays at the Church Office and Sundays in the Pastors’ Sacristy (chancel office).
