Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, members of St. Stephen Lutheran Church,
I am humbled that the Holy Spirit has directed you to extend me the call to serve as your associate
pastor.
During the next several weeks, I will prayerfully consider this call that the Lord has extended to me
through you and the call I am currently serving here in Milwaukee. Please feel free to reach out to me.
Conversations with you will assist me in getting a better grasp on the needs of St. Stephen. I trust that
God will lead me to a decision that will bring glory to his name and work for the best interests of his
kingdom.
At this time, I ask for your prayers. Pray for me as I deliberate. Pray for the congregation I am serving
here at Salem, and pray for the ministry at your own congregation. Please know that you will also be in
my prayers.
Since our Lord Jesus has risen and ascended to the right hand of the Father, we know that as we come
to him with our requests, he is interceding on our behalf, “…pray that the Lord of the harvest will send
out workers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:38).
