Dear members of St. Stephen’s:
With this letter I wish to formally acknowledge that St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin has invited me to serve the congregation as an associate pastor. I am honored to have received your call.
I will be spending the time ahead reviewing the information I will receive from St. Stephen’s and making contact with key leaders in order to gain a thorough understanding of what is expected in this call. At the same time I will be seeking the advice and counsel of the leaders and members of my congregation.
I ask for your prayers for me and my family as I consider both your invitation and the ministry where I currently serve. I am con!dent that, with the Lord’s blessing, I can make a decision that will be in the best interest of his kingdom.
