Mission offering:
We are collecting offerings for LLHS OpGo. We have collected $238.90 of our $500.00 goal so far. This past week was a collection of $36.60, which is 47.7% of our total goal. Let the Lord of Life guide us as we support this mission. Please look for envelopes to come home with children.
Parent/Teacher Conferences:
To accommodate the school year, we are only offering conferences on 2 days after school earlier in the year. If you cannot fit a meeting in on these two days, please talk with your child’s teachers and set up a time that will work. K-4 parents, please find the appropriate teacher and time you desire. 5-8 parents, please sign up for a 1/2 hour window when you would be in the building. During that time you could see 1, 2, or 3 teachers during that 1/2 hour. These visits are very important as we look at the education of your child. Schedules may need to change based on how parents are signed up. Please sign up no later than September 29. The links are found at the top of the page under the important link section.
Pizza Ranch Fundraiser:
Tomorrow, September 29th from 4-8pm, Good Shepherd Preschool is hosting a Community Impact Fundraising Event at Pizza Ranch in Beaver Dam. Attendees will be able to eat supper, buy gift cards, and support our preschool as we raise funds for new playground equipment, new classroom manipulatives, and other facilities improvements.
NWEA Testing
Grades 3-8 will be participating in testing starting this week.
-Grades 5-8 will take care of this on Tuesday. Please be sure your students’ chromebook is charged and ready to go for this. They should also have their charging cord along on Tuesday to use if their chromebook is dead or in the process of dying due to use that day.
-Grades 3-4 will do this testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Please be sure your children are fueled up and ready to go for these days. A great breakfast and lunch will help them immensely.

St. Stephen’s School Mission:
St. Stephen’s Lutheran School will offer a Christ-centered education to all students. We will instruct them in the Word of God, educate them in secular subjects, train them to become responsible citizens in our community, and prepare them for their eternal victory in heaven when they die. We will do this by holding Jesus and his love before them each day by appropriately using law and gospel as we instruct and discipline.
Please remember that if you need assistance with anything that you can reach out to the teachers and leaders of St. Stephen’s. You can also find answers to some questions on the website: www.ssbdwels.com
