PickUp/Dropoff reminder:
The parking lot can be a busy place during pick up and drop off.  There have been some noticeable incidents in the last few weeks that piqued the interest of school faculty.

Three reminders as we move towards the end of the school year:

  1. Students 2nd grade and under should be brought to and picked up from the double lined area of the parking lot.  Older siblings may help with this.
  2. While you wait for your students, please do so within the double yellow line area.
  3. When dropping children off in the lane next to the yellow lines, please pull up as far as possible.

Thank you for understanding.

Daylight Savings Reminder:
Remember that clocks go ahead 1 hour Saturday night.

Quarter 3 ending:
Friday, March 6, marks the end of the 3rd quarter.  Report cards will be released the following week.

Pizza Ranch Community Impact Event:
Thank you to everyone who came to support the fundraising event at Pizza Ranch.  A wonderful opportunity for fellowship was had by all.  Throughout the evening we raised a total of $1238.06, which included $581.06 for the Mummy Madness event.

Mummy Madness:
From February 23 Through March 6, students may bring in a donation in an envelope labeled with their Raider group color.  (No names necessary).  The more money raised per Raider color group, the more crepe paper earned with which to wrap the Raider group teacher!  The funds raised here will go to help fund the new bleachers in the gym.  The teacher wrap will happen during a Raider Group event on Friday, March 13.
There is a lot of news on this front in terms of the totals:

Group Leader Group Total
Pink Mrs. Barnett $33.00
Yellow Mrs. Trimmer $59.35
Purple Miss Wenman $86.00
Green Mrs. Reis $125.85
Orange Mr. Zuberbier $167.10
Blue Mr. Schulz $195.38
Red Mrs. Cooper $212.40

Bleacher News:
Great news on the bleacher front:  we have ordered the bleachers and they are set to be installed the week of August 24, 2026.  We still have some work to do on the fundraising side. The total cost of installing the bleachers (minus incidentals) is $39,451.00.  As of 2/27/26 we have raised $29,164.40.  This does not include the Pizza Ranch event or the mummy madness.

We thank all of our donors throughout the congregation who have supported this and the playground improvements over the last 2 years.  To God be the glory!

Call News:
St. Stephen’s called Mrs. Dania Wickert to be our 4th grade teacher.  Mrs. Wickert has returned this call and St. Stephen’s will again go to place a call on Sunday, March 15 after the 10:00 service.  All voting members of the church are encouraged to attend.

Mission offering:
Quarter 3 mission offering is well underway.  We collected $47.75 last weekThis puts us at $453.70 of our $500.00 goal this week.  That is 91% of our goal–there was a mistake in this percentage last week.  There are 2 weeks left to collect for this mission.  If each student were to contribute $1.00 per week over the next 2, we will easily surpass our goal to support this wonderful mission in the neighborhoods of downtown Madison.  Let us continue to show our gratitude to our Lord as we support this mission over the coming weeks.

Financial Statements:
Financial statements will be sent home this week.  Please be sure to make appropriate payments as the year continues.
