Mission offering:
We are collecting offerings for WELS World Mission: Australia.  We have collected $356.05 of our $500.00 goal so far.  This is 71.2% of our goal.  Let us now continue to press on toward our goal and see by how much we can surpass it now.  Please look for envelopes to come home with children and encourage faithful giving to the missions throughout the year.

Weather announcement:
If inclement weather arises and school is closed or delayed, a text alert and email alert will be sent out between 5:45 and 6:00 the morning of the event.  Also, notices will be posted on WKOW, DailyDodge.com, and the church/school Facebook page.

Call News:
Tiffany Mateske has returned our call to be the 4th grade teacher at St. Stephen’s.  The voting assembly will meet again on Sunday, November 23 at 11:00 to place a call to a new soul to see who God leads to our midst.  Please continue to pray for the ministry as we work toward filling our staff for the coming school year.  All are welcome to attend the meeting on the 23rd.  We especially encourage our voting members to attend and let their voices be heard.

Food Drive:
Throughout November, St. Stephen’s will be collecting non-perishable, non-expired food for the local food pantry.  Boxes will be set out on each level of the school in which to place donations. Let’s let our light shine and share the love of Jesus by helping to meet the bodily needs of people in our community.

Beaver Dam Christmas Parade:
All church and school families of St. Stephen’s are invited to walk in this year’s parade on Saturday, December 6th. Young, old, and in between are encouraged to represent our church and school by handing out flyers and candy during the parade. We ask that school-aged students be accompanied by an adult. Stay tuned to Facebook and Fast Direct emails for information on our spot in the line-up as we get closer to this event. We ask that people arrive by 4:30 pm for the 5 pm parade. We look forward to seeing you there!!!!

Speaking of candy, donations are needed for the parade.  Please send candy with your child to Mrs. Cooper’s classroom. Thanks so much!!

Special Event:
On Tuesday, November 25, starting promptly at 1:00 (new start time), the students will be gathering in the gym for a jump rope competition.  Parents and families are invited to attend.  We ask that you park in the main west lot and enter the school through the office door (S1). Thank you.

St. Stephen’s School Mission:
St. Stephen’s Lutheran School will offer a Christ-centered education to all students. We will instruct them in the Word of God, educate them in secular subjects, train them to become responsible citizens in our community, and prepare them for their eternal victory in heaven when they die. We will do this by holding Jesus and his love before them each day by appropriately using law and gospel as we instruct and discipline.

Please remember that if you need assistance with anything that you can reach out to the teachers and leaders of St. Stephen’s.  You can also find answers to some questions on the website: www.ssbdwels.com
