Hello,

         Highlights of the week:

*We enjoyed our second round of second-graders shadowing us this past week.

*A few more kids finished their narrative stories.  The editing process is a long one.

*The butterflies were released on Wednesday,  and the mealworms found a home as well.

*Fourth graders shadowed upstairs.

Here are some tidbits for this week:

SUB: Thank you to Mrs. Reichert, who subbed for me on Thursday and Friday.

OWW: The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22, from 8 to 3.  Thank you to those who have signed up to drive and chaperone.  The children and chaperones will need sack lunches that day.  Please return the permission slip sent home with your child this past week.

SCHOOL FAMILY NIGHT: As part of the School Family Night this coming Monday, 4th graders will receive a certificate of participation in various activities from the year.  Our class will also be whipping up a beat with a bucket drumming presentation.

SERMON STUDIES: Please double-check via Fast Direct to see how many your child has completed.

MISSION:  Our 4th quarter mission for MLC continues.  Our total stands at $ 437.40, which is  87.48 % of our goal. That means we only have $62.60 left to meet our goal!!! Thank you for blessing our pastor and teacher training college with your offerings.

TEACHER/STUDENT DATES:  Tacos with the Teacher continues and ends this week with Judah on Tuesday, May 20.  This past week, Ezzy and I enjoyed Taco Cat, Bop It, and Charades.

SPELLING TESTS: The last test of this school year will be on Friday.

CAMP PHILLIP: Fourth grade will visit Camp Phillip for an overnight field trip again this fall.  The dates are September 25 and 26.  Chaperones, who also serve as drivers, will be needed. Please consider coming with us.

God’s blessings,
