Hello,

We experienced some fun events again this week.  We began our Oregon Trail Reading unit, helped to glorify worship with All-Sufficient Merit, enjoyed the gender reveal of Baby Barnett, rocked it to Cardio Desk Drumming for Gym class, enjoyed a Spelling Bee, and celebrated all our baptisms.  School is certainly never boring.

Here are some tidbits for this week:

MEMORY WORK: This quarter contains some memory work days on Mondays, as well as, the regular Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Please note this change

OWW: The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22 from 8 to 3.  Thank you to those who have signed up to drive and chaperone.

SERMON STUDIES: Pages are available for your child to take and use when he or she needs another copy.

NIGHTLY READING: The journals and books were sent home on March 26.  There are 8 journal entries to be completed. The whole book doesn’t need to be finished before entries are started.  The due date is April 17.  Items may be turned in earlier once they are completed.  Thanks.

SINGING: Our next singing opportunity is Palm Sunday, April 13.  We will sing during the 10 a.m. service.  This time we will meet in the choir room at 9:40 a.m. since the kids will be walking in with palm branches.  After singing, your child will sit with you.

MISSION:  Our 4th quarter mission for MLC continues.  I do not have the current total, but Mr. Schulz may list it in his newsletter. Stay tuned.

TEACHER/STUDENT DATES:  Tacos with the Teacher continues this week. So far, Rock has taken me down in checkers and Kenzie in lightning.

Kiddos signed up for future dates are: Silas, April 1/ Somaya, April 3/ Kennedy, April 8/ Anabelle, April 10/ Harper, April 22/  Liam, April 24/ Kaitly, May 7.
