Welcome to the first week of school. God’s blessings to you as we work together to educate your child for time and eternity by impressing God’s Word on his or her heart!
Here are some tidbits for the week:
SHORT WEEKS: This week and next will be shorter weeks due to Labor Day Weekend. We have off this Friday and next Monday.
MISSION: Our mission offerings for this year will also be divided among the four quarters and will be collected during Monday morning chapel. An envelope will be sent home in the weekly folder for the upcoming week’s chapel. The first one is to support Luther Prep’s Project Timothy which assists the high school students with ministry trips.
WEEKLY FOLDER: I send weekly folders on Monday (or the first school day of the week). The church attendance page, classroom or school notes, and corrected papers will be enclosed.
ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK: Please remember to check the assignment notebook each day and sign off. Thanks.
FIELD TRIP: Camp Phillip forms were out at registration. Please be sure to return them sooner than later. Remember, our trip is next Thursday and Friday, September 5th and 6th.
STUDENT COUNCIL: Fourth graders will be asked if they would like to participate in student council this year. If so, more information will be forthcoming.
