Hello, This past week included a science project, Reading games, and Reader’s Theater.  Be sure to check our Facebook page or ClassDojo for photos. Hello,   It was good this past week was short.  Cabin fever was in play, and everyone needed a break.  It will be nice to return to warmer temps this coming week. Hello,   We definitely had a packed week with lots of fun activities: Spirit Week, Accreditation Team Visit, 100th Day, Valentine’s Day, Pep Fest, Mini Raider photos, and a full moon (If you know; you know!!) Hello,   A fun week is ahead of us–Spirit Week, 100th Day, and Valentine’s Day.  Wow! Here are some tidbits for the week:   VALENTINE’S DAY: We will be exchanging cards. Cards may be store bought or hand-made.   Here is a class list so no one is accidentally forgotten.  Rock, Kaitlyn, Lilly, Drew, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Jonas, Anabelle, Ezekiel, Ashlyn, Silas, Liam, Somaya, Harper, Kenzie, and Judah.  I will have a few treats for the kiddos. This week our Math classes went beyond paper/pencil to create bar graphs to organize collected data  (levels 4 and 5) and protein balls to practice measuring and fractions (level 3).  We also experimented with making a simple electromagnet.  Bucket drumming rounded out our Friday.   Here are some  tidbits for the week:   VALENTINE’S DAY: We will be exchanging cards. Hello,   We had a few delightful activities this week beyond the paper and pencil ones.  Marshmallows were enjoyed in 2 different ways–in cocoa and with toothpick creations.  We began an online Math supplement called Happy Numbers. Your child may log in at home if they wish using info given out at school, but it is not mandatory.  We did 2 Science experiments again.  We briefly began bucket drumming for music by getting our hands on the sticks and beating out a beginning rhythm. Hello,   We have already enjoyed 2 Science experiments during our first week of Science.  Ask about wind-up toys and cars on ramps, and you should have a good. Hello,   Happy New Year!! I hope you enjoyed a blessed Christmas with your family.  May the celebration of our Savior’s birth bring you continued joy in this new year. Speaking of celebrating our Savior’s birth, our children give God the glory when they present the Children’s Service.
