Quick Notes

  • Next singing date is on December 15th at 10am service at St. Stephen’s for singing with Children Choir.
  • On Sunday, December 22nd, our Christmas service starts at 4:00.  Please have the children to their designated spots no later than 3:40.  Students in grades K-4 will meet in the lower hallway classrooms. Students in grades 5-8 will meet in the gym. Please remember that the doors to the school will not open until about 3:30 and the church doors will not open until approximately 3:15.
  • On Friday December 20, we will have a classroom party and gift exchange. If your child would like to be part of the gift exchange, please bring a gift of no more than $10. Boys will buy a gift meant for a boy. Girls will buy a gift meant for a girl.
  • If inclement weather arises and school is closed or delayed, a text alert and email alert will be sent out between 5:45 and 6:00 the morning of the event.  Also, notices will be posted on WKOW, DailyDodge.com, and the church/school Facebook page.
  • Even though it seems like an ok thing to do, many students are not coming prepared to go outside.  Please remind students that it is cold out and that having coats, gloves, hats, and possibly even boots is important. We do go outside as long as the weather permits.  It is always easier to remove layers than to sit and wonder why they didn’t bring an article that keeps them warm.
