Pastor – Bethel Lutheran Church and School

Dear fellow believers, family in Christ,

In his letter to the Romans, the apostle Paul marvels at the scope of God’s dealings with humankind. He says,
‘Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and
how untraceable his ways! For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory
forever! Amen.’ [11:33, 36] Over these past weeks, I have had a multiplication of opportunities to ponder these
truths and the way our loving Lord takes care of all of his people everywhere and in every time.

After consultation and prayerful consideration, I am writing to inform you that I am returning your Call to
serve as your shepherd. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the abundance of service to the Lord
happening among you. I certainly thank you for prompting some honest self-evaluation, both for myself and
for our congregation.

We will continue to pray that the Lord of the Church will bring you the shepherd you need, so that you may
continue to carry out his ministry in Beaver Dam.

May God continue to bless you and your work of sharing the Gospel in his name!

In Christ,

Pastor Michael A. Killinger
