Dear Friends in Christ,
The past few weeks have provided me a tremendous opportunity to give thanks as I
wrestled with the call to serve as the Associate Pastor at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in
Beaver Dam, WI. I give thanks to our good and loving Lord for you and the gospel
message that you are proclaiming in Beaver Dam. I give thanks to our good and loving
Lord for the conversations, words of encouragement, and many prayers offered for the
good of his kingdom. And finally, I give thanks to our good and loving Lord for the
purposes that were served in allowing me to wrestle with this call.
However, at this time, I have decided to return the call you extended to serve as the
Associate Pastor at St. Stephen’s. I pray and know that God, in his gracious will and
timing, will provide a faithful servant for you.
You are in my prayers and I wish all of you God’s richest blessings in Christ Jesus.
