To the members of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church,

Easter Greetings Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

In the glow of Easter, we focus on the wonderful things that the Father has done for us.  He sent his Son to live a perfect life. His Son died a gruesome death on that ancient torture device.  He did not stay dead though. Three days later he burst forth from that tomb. What a wonderful message called workers get to work with and spread to all corners of the world.

On March 25, the congregation of St. Paul’s, Moline, IL, through the Lord’s guidance, placed the divine call to me to be the principal and grade 4-8 teacher.  Throughout the course of the past few weeks, there have been many meaningful conversations with both congregations. Also, throughout the course of the deliberation, the Lord has allowed me to refocus my mind on the mission at hand.  Thank you to everyone who reached out to me in this manner.

As I do appreciate the attention that has been given to the calling process over the last few weeks, the Lord in his wisdom has led me to return the call to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

As the “calling window” for teachers in the synod closes, I ask that you keep St. Paul’s and all congregations of our synod searching for teachers, principals and early childhood directors in your prayers.  Pray that the Lord will continue to use HIS wisdom to place HIS workers where they are needed.

Serving in the Lord’s mission field
