Dear Members of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church,

On February 28, I received a Divine Call to serve your congregation as teacher and  music coordinator.

I appreciate the confidence that you’ve expressed in my abilities. The opportunity  to deliberate a call is a blessing that I am very thankful for. It allowed me to look at  my currently ministry at St. Paul’s and also the potential to serve in a new location  where the Lord would guide me in new ways that only he can foresee.

When deliberating the call to St. Stephen’s and St. Paul’s, my prayer was that the  Lord help me understand where my talents best serve him at the present time. After  prayerful consideration, I have decided to return the call, and remain at St. Paul’s.  I pray that the Lord calls someone to St. Stephen’s to continue the work of His  kingdom. The Lord is in control of all things and will bless His children.

Isaiah 41:10 – Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be overwhelmed, for I am  your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my  righteous right hand.

In our Lord Jesus,

Samuel Korth
