Dear Members of St. Stephen Lutheran Church,
During the past few weeks, I was given the exciting opportunity to learn about the ministry that is taking place at your church and school. I sincerely appreciated all the correspondence I shared with the leaders and members of your congregation. It is clearly evident that the Lord has blessed St. Stephen congregation and I firmly believe that he will continue to do so. After prayerful consideration, the Lord has led me to return the call to St. Stephen and remain at Pilgrim.
The Lord has led me to realize that my ministry is not yet complete in Menomonee Falls and my continued service will provide Pilgrim with the support and leadership that our congregation needs as we seek to reach others with the Good News of Jesus.
Your congregation will be in my prayers as you continue searching for a teacher/music coordinator to fulfill the awesome privilege of serving Jesus’ lambs and church members on a daily basis. God already has that person in mind. We take comfort in his assurance to always provide for the needs of our congregations.
I’d like to close with words of encouragement from 1 Corinthians 15 where it says, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
