Today we celebrate the Sacrament of the Altar in which we joyfully receive Christ’s body and blood, together with the bread and wine, for the forgiveness of our sins. As we celebrate the Sacrament we also give public confession to our unity in the Christian faith. We invite communicant members of this congregation to commune. Guests wishing to receive the sacrament should speak with one of our pastors.

Bible Studies
- Winter Bible Study “Gospel of John”. We are continuing our in-depth study of the Gospel of John. To join us for in-person Bible class, join us Mondays at 7:00pm and Wednesdays at 11:00am. Streaming video isn’t working from the basement, but we are recording the Monday session and putting it on YouTube, Wednesdays at noon. An archive of classes including all the previous chapters are available on Youtube for those who want to review or who haven’t attended and want to catch up and join the study in person or online.
Twice Is Nice in Jefferson will accept donations of clothing, household items, toys, books, dishes, etc. All these donations help to benefit Lakeside Lutheran High School. You may bring these items to the church office.

Lakeside Lutheran A Cappella Choir will be joining us in worship on Sunday, January 17th. Please come and listen to the beautiful talent the Lord has given to our youth at Lakeside. There will be a door offering taken that day to help with expenses.
Annual Voters’ Meeting has been set for Sunday, January 24th, at 1:15pm. The annual report of congregation activity for 2020 will be reviewed, and elections will take place for congregation boards. All men 18 years and older are urged to take part in this leadership activity of our congregation. Every member is welcome to attend and listen.
Kindergarten Round-Up On Monday, February 8, 2021, St. Stephen’s will be holding our annual Kindergarten Round-Up. This will be from 6-7. It is an opportunity for new Kindergarten parents and students to meet and greet the faculty of the school. If you know of a family that has a child that would be in Kindergarten next year, please encourage them to be part of this Round-up and learn more about the importance of Christian elementary education.
