Funeral Virgil Hoffmann was called home to heaven on September 28, 2020, age 87. His funeral will be conducted on October 5, 2020 here at St. Stephen’s at 1pm.
Welcome and Thank You Pastor Schroeder! This week we are focusing on “training workers for the Mission”. Professor Mark Schroeder of Luther Preparatory School will be talking to us about encouraging our support through prayers, encouragement to young people, and financially for training another generation of Pastors and Teachers who will be involved full-time in Jesus’ mission of making disciples.

Bible Studies
- Fall Bible Study “Gospel of John”. We are continuing our in-depth study of the Gospel of John. To join us for in-person Bible class, join us Mondays at 7:00pm and Wednesdays at 11:00am. Streaming video isn’t working from the basement, but we are recording the Monday session and putting it on YouTube, Wednesdays at noon. An archive of classes including all the previous chapters are available on Youtube for those who want to review or who haven’t attended and want to catch up and join the study in person or online.

Lutherans for Life Event: The Treasure Life Event, WELS Lutherans for Life fall fundraising event will be Friday, October 9th at 6:30 PM. This year due to COVID it is an online, virtual event. Donation Received: On Friday, September 18, St. Stephen’s School received a gift of $125.00 from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department Communications Division. The gift is to be used for outdoor playground equipment, such as balls, jump ropes, or other needed items for children to use during recess. We thank the Communications Division for this gift and for their service to our community.
