Dear members of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church,
Christmas greetings to all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On Sunday, December 22nd, the Lord, in his infinite wisdom led the voting member of St. Luke’s Church and School, in Oakfield, WI to extend me a calI to serve as one of their 5th-8th grade teachers. Even with our limited knowledge of the Lord’s overall plan, we can still look into His Word for answers. Jeremiah 29:11 gives me comfort to know that the Lord is still in control of all that happens in our lives, and with our church and school, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you peace, not disaster, plans to give you hope and a future.”
With that thought, I ask that you keep my family and me, St. Stephen’s and St. Luke’s in your prayers as I deliberate both my current call at St. Stephen’s, and my call to St. Luke’s.
