Bible Study Opportunities We have begun our fall Bible study schedule in person in the church basement. Come be part of our “live studio audience,” and join us Mondays at 7:00pm or Wednesdays at 11:00am. The video Bible Class is available on Facebook and YouTube for those who want to review, or for those who haven’t attended and want to catch up and join the study in person or online.
Mission Festival Our annual Mission Festival will be observed next Sunday, October 4th . In our three year “rotation” of mission themes, this year we focus on “training workers for the Mission”. Professor Mark Schroeder of Luther Preparatory School will be our guest preacher, encouraging our support through prayers, encouragement to young people, and financially for training another generation of Pastors and Teachers who will be involved full-time in Jesus’ mission of making disciples. Due to the current situation, there will not be a potluck meal nor a special presentation. Do come for worship, though, for information and encouragement for training more “missionaries”.
Letter of Thanks
Dear members of Saint Stephen’s,
Thank you for your thoughtful cards and gifts welcoming me as a member and servant of this congregation. This is an interesting time with covid. I have not had much of an opportunity to meet many congregation members. I pray to get to know you better in the coming months. I ask most of all for your prayers as I serve in the school.
Thank you again and God’s blessings to you all.
In his service,
Mr. Tom Zuberbier
