\n<\/b>Our annual Veterans Day celebration is quickly coming up.\u00a0 Please note the following details about Veterans Day:<\/span>
\n<\/span>All veterans are kindly invited to attend a special event in honor of their service to our country on Monday, November 10, at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. The event will begin with a chapel service held in the church beginning shortly after 8:00 a.m.\u00a0 Following\u00a0 the chapel service, the children in grades K-8 will present songs and speeches. Afterward, refreshments will be served in the church basement.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>October 24 will be the first Friday where all students are encouraged to wear their Pursue shirts.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>Picture retake day is Wednesday, October 22.\u00a0 If your student was absent from picture day round one, now is the time to have a picture taken.\u00a0 If you desire a retake, please let Mr. Schulz know so he can get you on the list.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/span>Last Friday marked the end of the quarter.\u00a0 Report cards will be released by Friday of this week.\u00a0 When the reports are released, families will be notified.\u00a0 Please review the report with your children and discuss where changes can be made.\u00a0 We are in this together.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>Please remember that we ask all families to stay off of the playground until 3:45 and we also ask that no one park by the basketball hoops on the north end of the lot.\u00a0 Please park in the stalls in the main parking lot.\u00a0 Pass this on to family members who may be picking up or dropping off students.\u00a0 Also, during drop off in the morning, if you are not going to park in the lot, please pull as far forward as possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>St. Stephen\u2019s Lutheran School will offer a Christ-centered education to all students. We will instruct them in the Word of God, educate them in secular subjects, train them to become responsible citizens in our community, and prepare them for their eternal victory in heaven when they die. We will do this by holding Jesus and his love before them each day by appropriately using law and gospel as we instruct and discipline.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
