Graduation
\n<\/b>Grades K-8 will sing during Ascension\/Graduation service on Thursday, May 29, starting at 6:30.\u00a0 Children’s Choir, Jr. Choir and 8th grade students will need to be here by 5:45 for mass rehearsal of our song.\u00a0 This is the one and only rehearsal with all three choirs so it is important that students are there on time.
\nPlease have the children wear the following:\u00a0 ladies\u2013nice skirt\/blouse, nice pants\/blouse, gentlemen\u2013dress pants\/polo, dress pants\/nice shirt tie.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Grades K-7 will sing the graduates song, Children\u2019s Choir and Jr. Choir will join the Sr. Choir for a song.\u00a0 Jr. Choir will also sing a song of their own.\u00a0 Jr. Choir, and 8th grade will sit in the reserved seats in the front of the church.\u00a0 Children\u2019s Choir and K-1 students will sit with families until it is time to sing.\u00a0 When it is time for them to sing, they will come to the front of the church.\u00a0 Please refrain from sitting in the balcony.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n

There will be cake\/refreshments served in the church basement after the service is finished.<\/p>\n

Mission Collection:<\/b>
\nQuarter 4 brings us to supporting the WELS college of Ministry, MLC.\u00a0 This past week\u2019s collection was $66.80.\u00a0 <\/b>We are at $437.40, which is 87.4%<\/b> of our $500.00<\/b> goal.\u00a0 We have 1 week of collection during our chapel service between now and the end of the school year to get there.<\/p>\n

Family Celebration Night
\n<\/b>Family Celebration night<\/b> is from 6:00-8:00 tomorrow night. (This time is estimated) All are invited.\u00a0 This is the evening we celebrate all our accomplishments at school.\u00a0 Band and choir will be doing some selections.\u00a0 We will have a small ceremony for the kindergarteners, other activities will be done as well.\u00a0 There will be some projects displayed in the gym that the teachers have been holding on to throughout the year.\u00a0 We want to encourage all families to be involved with this night to celebrate our school.\u00a0 Ice cream will be served near the end of the evening.<\/p>\n

Jerry\u2019s BP Spirit Pump Supports St. Stephen\u2019s:
\n<\/b>Jerry\u2019s Automotive\/BP, 700 N Spring St.\u00a0 (Across from The Market in Beaver Dam) has a Spirit pump.\u00a0 When patrons use this pump for gas, Jerry\u2019s donates 2 cents per gallon to schools in Beaver Dam.\u00a0 The owners of Jerry\u2019s have again decided to give the proceeds from this pump to St. Stephen\u2019s during the month of MAY<\/b>.\u00a0 Please consider filling your tank in the month of May <\/b>at Jerry\u2019s at the Spirit pump.<\/p>\n

St. Stephen\u2019s Rummage Sale:
\n<\/b>Donations are being accepted at the church office for a rummage sale that will be held in the gym at St. Stephen\u2019s June 12th-14th.\u00a0 The funds raised will support the following projects:\u00a0 the playground, the bleachers in the gym, and St. Stephen\u2019s attendees of the 2026 WELS Youth Rally in Bowling Green, Ohio.\u00a0 Donations will be accepted from now until June 10th.\u00a0 We ask that no large furniture, mattresses, or TV\u2019s be donated.\u00a0 All donations should be in good, clean, working conditions.\u00a0 Please attach an approximate value to items, especially collectibles or antiques (if able).\u00a0 All donations will be sent to Twice Is Nice after the sale if it is not sold at St. Stephen\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Odds and ends:
\n<\/b>-Please visit https:\/\/ssl.fastdir.com\/saintstephens\/<\/span><\/a><\/b><\/span> and fill out the registration for next year.\u00a0 If you currently have students enrolled, you would need to log in and fill out the information for the new child.\u00a0 Any questions, do not hesitate to contact the school.\u00a0 This allows us to accurately prepare for the 2025-2026 school year.<\/p>\n

-5\/29 <\/b>End of year picnic starts at 11:00 at Tahoe Park.\u00a0 The picnic only succeeds with help from the parents. \u00a0 Click here for the signup for items for the picnic.<\/span><\/a><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Please sign up as soon as possible.\u00a0 The signup closes on May 23rd so we can go purchase things if needed.\u00a0 Items need to be present at school by the 28th.<\/p>\n

-When you drop off your items, please leave a piece of paper indicating who brought the item to school. <\/strong><\/p>\n

-If you are going to bring your items to the park, please let Mr. Schulz know.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday, May 29, (last day) information:
\n<\/b>-A continued change of last day procedures will happen this year.\u00a0 With graduation service on the last day, we will not have a closing service at 9 am on Thursday.\u00a0 We will simply have a closing devotion with songs at the end of the picnic and then celebrate our school year closing at the graduation service.<\/p>\n

-Report cards will be released via FastDirect on Friday, May 30, after the teachers have had the opportunity to finalize them.<\/p>\n

-If you have a remaining balance on your school bill, please make every effort to make payment before the end of the week.\u00a0 If you need to know information about the amount due, please let Mr. Schulz know.<\/p>\n

-Please keep an eye out for 2025-2026 school year information.\u00a0 It will be mailed to you throughout the summer.\u00a0 Email communications also may come to you through FastDirect or the email address we have on file.\u00a0 Facebook is also a great place to keep updated on the next school year.\u00a0 School starts on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

St. Stephen\u2019s School Mission:
\n<\/b>St. Stephen\u2019s Lutheran School will offer a Christ-centered education to all students. We will instruct them in the Word of God, educate them in secular subjects, train them to become responsible citizens in our community, and prepare them for their eternal victory in heaven when they die. We will do this by holding Jesus and his love before them each day by appropriately using law and gospel as we instruct and discipline.
