Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thank you for all the treats, gifts, notes, cards, lunch, and kind words this past week.\u00a0 I truly felt appreciated!! My bucket was filled. (The kids know what that means.)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Happy Mother\u2019s Day to all the moms.\u00a0 Thank you most especially for raising your children in the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n

Excitement continues with the live plants and animals in our classroom.\u00a0 The seed pods are getting larger and longer on our Fast Plants.\u00a0 We now have 4 Painted Lady butterflies in the net \u201chouse\u201d. Mealworms continue to morph into darkling beetles.\u00a0 Soon, the seeds will be harvested and the animals will be released.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Barnett\u2019s baby shower.\u00a0 It was a success.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some tidbits for this week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SUB: <\/b>I will be heading to MLC this coming Thursday.\u00a0 Mrs. Rachel Reichert will be subbing for me.\u00a0 Woot!\u00a0 Woot!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SHADOWING: <\/b>Fourth graders will be shadowing the 5th grade this coming Friday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SECOND GRADERS: <\/b>Six of the 2nd graders shadowed in our classroom this past Thursday.\u00a0 The rest will shadow this coming Tuesday.\u00a0 We enjoyed our very well-behaved guests and look forward to the next group.\u00a0 The third and fourth graders did an awesome job helping our guests.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MEMORY WORK: <\/b>This past week was a better week for memory work.\u00a0 Thanks for checking in.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

OWW: <\/b>The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22, from 8 to 3.\u00a0 Thank you to those who have signed up to drive and chaperone. <\/span>\u00a0The children and chaperones will need sack lunches that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SERMON STUDIES: <\/b>Please double-check via Fast Direct to see how many your child has completed.<\/span><\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b> \u00a0Our 4th quarter mission for MLC continues.\u00a0 Our total stands at $ 370.60\u00a0 which is roughly 74% of our goal.\u00a0 Thank you for blessing our pastor and teacher training college with your offerings. We have 3 more weeks to bring in gifts for this mission and meet the remaining balance of\u00a0 $294.40. I\u2019m confident we can meet that goal!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TEACHER\/STUDENT DATES:\u00a0 <\/b>Tacos with the Teacher continues this week. Ten Guesses, Uno Attack, Taco Cat, and Slapzi were the activities of choice for this past week. Since I\u2019m older, I had a little more knowledge when it came to Ten Guesses.\u00a0 Other than that, the kiddos beat the teacher.\u00a0 Kiddos signed up for future dates are: <\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Ezzy will be 5\/ 13 and\u00a0 Judah 5\/20.<\/b><\/p>\n
