Grades K-8 will sing during Ascension\/Graduation service on Thursday, May 29, starting at 6:30.<\/p>\n

Mission Collection:<\/b>
\nQuarter 4 brings us to supporting the WELS college of Ministry, MLC.\u00a0 We are at 42.7% of our $500.00 goal.\u00a0 We have 4 weeks of collection during our chapel service between now and the end of the school year to get there.<\/p>\n

Mid-Term:
\n<\/b>Friday marked the middle point of our quarter.\u00a0 Midterm reports will be released by Wednesday.\u00a0 When they are released, please discuss them with your child and see where improvements can be made.<\/p>\n

Good Shepherd Culvers Shares night:<\/b>
\nTomorrow night, Good Shepherd will be hosting a shares night at Culvers.\u00a0 Good Shepherd Preschool will receive a percentage of all sales between the hours of 5 and 8 that evening.\u00a0 The funds will go to help with the new playground they are installing on the North side of the church. Feel free to stop down and support the preschool and a great local business.<\/p>\n

Fundraising efforts:
\n<\/b>Thank you to all who have supported our efforts to get new playground equipment and bleachers in the gym.
\nWe continue to make great strides to put in new structures at our school.\u00a0 Let\u2019s keep working towards our goals.\u00a0 Please check the rendering in the back of the church to see what the new playground may look like as time moves on.\u00a0 The $75,000 will cover new swings, new structure, new GaGa Ball pit, surfacing, delivery, and installation.\u00a0 There will be another opportunity to add sections\/pieces to the area as funds warrant.<\/p>\n

St. Stephen\u2019s Rummage Sale:
\n<\/b>Donations are being accepted at the church office for a rummage sale that will be held in the gym at St. Stephen\u2019s June 12th-14th.\u00a0 The funds raised will support the following projects:\u00a0 the playground, the bleachers in the gym, and St. Stephen\u2019s attendees of the 2026 WELS Youth Rally in Bowling Green, Ohio.\u00a0 Donations will be accepted from now until June 10th.\u00a0 We ask that no large furniture, mattresses, or TV\u2019s be donated.\u00a0 All donations should be in good, clean, working conditions.\u00a0 Please attach an approximate value to items, especially collectibles or antiques (if able).\u00a0 All donations will be sent to Twice Is Nice after the sale if it is not sold at St. Stephen\u2019s.<\/p>\n

BDUSD Summer School:<\/b>

\n<\/b>2025-2026 School year:
\n<\/b>If you have seen the bulletin the last few week, it was mentioned that Mr. Barnett\u2019s call will be reduced to a \u00bd time call starting next year.\u00a0 He will maintain the Music Coordinator Role, he will be responsible for teaching 5-8 Social Studies, 5-8 Music, some 5-8 technology, and 5-6 Science.\u00a0 The rest of the courses for all of 5-8 will be taught by Mr. Schulz and Mr. Zuberbier.\u00a0 A more formal schedule will be distributed as the summer progresses.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>-Please visit\u00a0https:\/\/ssl.fastdir.com\/saintstephens\/<\/span><\/a><\/b> <\/span>and fill out the registration for next year.\u00a0 If you currently have students enrolled, you would need to log in and fill out the information for the new child.\u00a0 Any questions, do not hesitate to contact the school.\u00a0 This allows us to accurately prepare for the 2025-2026 school year.<\/p>\n

-5\/12<\/b>: Piano Recital\u2013Select times on Monday, May 12.<\/p>\n

-5\/19<\/b>: School Family Night 6:00-8:00.\u00a0 All are invited.\u00a0 This is the evening we celebrate all our accomplishments at school.\u00a0 Band and choir will perform.\u00a0 We will honor our students in various ways throughout the evening.<\/p>\n

St. Stephen\u2019s School Mission:
\n<\/b>St. Stephen\u2019s Lutheran School will offer a Christ-centered education to all students. We will instruct them in the Word of God, educate them in secular subjects, train them to become responsible citizens in our community, and prepare them for their eternal victory in heaven when they die. We will do this by holding Jesus and his love before them each day by appropriately using law and gospel as we instruct and discipline.<\/p>\n
