Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Fast Plants are speedily on-the-grow\u2014-hence the name.\u00a0 We started measuring their progress this week. The caterpillars are now in their pop-up tent. Many more mealworm larvae are going through the pupa stage and turning into Darkling Beetles.\u00a0 If you move the container and listen, you can hear them moving about.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lent art adorns the halls with a transition to Easter and spring coming this week.\u00a0 Feel free to walk through and notice.<\/span><\/p>\n

MEMORY WORK: <\/b>This quarter contains some memory work days on Mondays, as well as, the regular Tuesdays and Thursdays.\u00a0 Please note this change<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

OWW: <\/b>The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22 from 8 to 3.\u00a0 Thank you to those who have signed up to drive and chaperone.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SERMON STUDIES: <\/b>Pages are available for your child to take and use when he or she needs another copy. Thank you parents for helping your child with this.\u00a0 There have even been students encouraging each other.\u00a0 As one of our pastors stated, \u201cThis is an activity in faith formation.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0As stated when this initially started, I do include this with Christ Light.\u00a0 As another pastor mentioned, \u201cJust like memory work, we are not grading faith when we have the students complete such activities and record them for class.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>By now it would have been possible to have at least two studies turned in.\u00a0 I will turn the (m for missing) on Fast Direct into a 0 on Monday until those are turned in.\u00a0 <\/span><\/i>Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n

NIGHTLY READING: <\/b>The journal was due this past Thursday, April 17. Any late journals will be marked at zero until completed. Then the grade will turn into the points acquired minus points for late work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is this Sunday for Easter.\u00a0 Children will sit with parents until it is time to sing and then return to you after.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b> \u00a0Our 4th quarter mission for MLC continues.\u00a0 Our total stands at $ 213.60\u00a0 which is 42.72% of our goal.\u00a0 Thank you for blessing our pastor and teacher training college with your offerings.<\/span><\/p>\n

NO SCHOOL: <\/b>There will be no school on Monday, April 21.<\/span><\/p>\n
