Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This week the Oregon Trail groups constructed their covered wagons. A shout-out goes to the manager at Marshall\u2019s for gifting me 4 foldable cardboard boxes.\u00a0 We also have lima bean seeds and radish seeds germinating or getting close to it.\u00a0 Classroom \u201cpets\u201d were introduced on Wednesday\u2013mealworms with some darkling beetles and caterpillar larvae.\u00a0 Bucket drumming and cardio desk drumming once again rounded out our week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some tidbits for this week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MEMORY WORK: <\/b>This quarter contains some memory work days on Mondays, as well as, the regular Tuesdays and Thursdays.\u00a0 Please note this change<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

OWW: <\/b>The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22 from 8 to 3.\u00a0 Thank you to those who have signed up to drive and chaperone.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SERMON STUDIES: <\/b>Pages are available for your child to take and use when he or she needs another copy.\u00a0 Per last week\u2019s extra note, I changed it to 5 studies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NIGHTLY READING: <\/b>The journals and books were sent home on March 26.\u00a0 There are 8 journal entries to be completed. The whole book doesn\u2019t need to be finished before entries are started.\u00a0 <\/span>The due date is April 17. <\/span>\u00a0Items may be turned in earlier once they are completed.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is Palm Sunday, April 13.\u00a0 We will sing during the 10 a.m. service.\u00a0 This time we will meet in the choir room at 9:40 a.m. since the kids will be walking in with palm branches.\u00a0 After singing, your child will sit with you.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b> \u00a0Our 4th quarter mission for MLC continues.\u00a0 Our total stands at $105 which is 21 % of our goal.\u00a0 Thank you for blessing our pastor and teacher training college with your offerings.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NO SCHOOL: <\/b>There will be no school on Friday, April 18,\u00a0 or Monday, April 21.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TEACHER\/STUDENT DATES:\u00a0 <\/b>Tacos with the Teacher continues this week. Shooting hoops and playing checkers have been the activities of choice this past week.\u00a0 Watch out, we\u2019ve got some future bball players on our hands.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
