Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

This past week included a science project, Reading games, and Reader\u2019s Theater.\u00a0 Be sure to check our Facebook page or ClassDojo for photos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remember, Midweek Lenten service 2 is this week.\u00a0 We have 3:45 and 6:30 pm services here and a 7:00 pm service at Good Shepherd.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

OWW: <\/b>The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22 from 8 to 3.\u00a0 If you are able to drive and chaperone that would be awesome.\u00a0 Please let me know, and I will add you to the list. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

READING PROJECT: <\/b>Ranger In Time game boards are due this Friday, March 14.\u00a0 If your child is going to be out of town, it is due before he or she leaves.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SERMON STUDIES: <\/b>\u00a0During 4th quarter, your child will be completing sermon studies as part of our home-school-church connection. There are 20 worship opportunities during quarter four. Your child will complete 9 studies throughout the quarter as part of Christ Light. I will provide the sermon study sheets for your child to use.\u00a0 I have been showing the kids how to fill them out by completing some during church myself and sharing them.\u00a0 Your child will need a clipboard, or something to write on, and a pencil during the service.\u00a0 The bulletin for the service your child does the study for should be turned in with the study.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NIGHTLY READING: <\/b>After spring break we will begin an Oregon Trail unit for Reading class.\u00a0 This will involve nightly reading at home a few times a week with books that are sent home with your child. A journal entry will accompany each read.\u00a0 (<\/span>Your child reading at home each night for at least 15 minutes shouldn\u2019t be anything new. It\u2019s good practice.\u00a0 Remember when your kiddos completed nightly Book Bingo for Mrs. Trimmer??) <\/span><\/i>\u00a0So, now I will simply be tying it into classwork.\u00a0 Thank you for all your assistance with this.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is Wednesday, March 26 at St. Stephen\u2019s during the 6:30 pm service.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b>\u00a0 I am excited to see that we should be able to supersede our goal for the Bend, Oregon mission.\u00a0 Monday\u2019s offering should bring us way over the top.\u00a0 Let\u2019s do this!!!!\u00a0 The fourth quarter’s mission will be for MLC.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TEACHER\/STUDENT DATES:\u00a0 <\/b>I am once again planning my Tacos with the Teacher after-school events where I hang out with your kiddo to enjoy some one-on-one fun. We would play games and enjoy taco-themed snacks provided by me.\u00a0 Pick-up time would be 4:15.\u00a0 Dates wouldn\u2019t begin until after Spring Break.\u00a0 Stay tuned for a Sign-Up Genius link listing available dates.\u00a0 It won\u2019t be mandatory to sign up.<\/span><\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: <\/b>We now have all the baptism birthday dates. Awesome.\u00a0 We will celebrate all our baptism birthdays on Friday, March 28!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>There will not be a test this week.<\/span><\/p>\n
