Wow!\u00a0 In retrospect, February seems to have flown by.\u00a0 With the beginning of March, we also experience the beginning of Lent.\u00a0 May our hearts and minds be focused on everything our Savior suffered for our salvation.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

OWW: <\/b>The field trip to Old World Wisconsin is Thursday, May 22 from 8 to 3.\u00a0 If you are able to drive and chaperone that would be awesome.\u00a0 Please let me know, and I will add you to the list. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

READING PROJECT: <\/b>The projects for the Sarah, Plain and Tall reading group began this past week.\u00a0 There will be opportunities to work during school, but time may be needed at home as well.\u00a0 The due date for these projects will be Friday, March 7th.\u00a0 Finished projects may be turned in when completed.\u00a0 The Ranger group is making board games as well.\u00a0 School has provided the tagboard.\u00a0 The Ranger group may have a different deadline.\u00a0 We\u2019ll see how it goes.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is tomorrow, Sunday, March 2 at St. Stephen\u2019s during the 8:00 service.\u00a0 The kiddos will be sitting with you and coming up to sing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b>\u00a0 Our new mission will be for a starter congregation in Bend, Oregon.\u00a0 Our goal will once again be $500.\u00a0 Our total so far is $416.45 which is roughly 83 % of our goal.\u00a0 We have\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

$ 83.55 left to raise to meet our goal of blessing this mission within 2 weeks.\u00a0 <\/span>Just think, with the amount of money brought in during one week for the playground, we should be able to exceed our expectations for this mission.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TEACHER\/STUDENT DATES:\u00a0 <\/b>I am once again planning my Tacos with the Teacher after- school events where I hang out with your kiddo to enjoy some one-on-one fun. We would play games and enjoy taco-themed snacks provided by me.\u00a0 Pick-up time would be 4:15.\u00a0 Dates wouldn\u2019t begin until after Spring Break.\u00a0 Stay tuned for a Sign-Up Genius link listing available dates.\u00a0 It won\u2019t be mandatory to sign up.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>The test will be this Friday.\u00a0 Please study with your child at home as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

POP-TOP TABS: <\/b>There has been an awesome outpouring for this drive. Thank you and keep them coming.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
