We definitely had a packed week with lots of fun activities: Spirit Week, Accreditation Team Visit, 100th Day, Valentine\u2019s Day, Pep Fest, Mini Raider photos, and a full moon (If you know; you know!!) Stay tuned to our Facebook page and Class Dojo for some pics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

VALENTINE\u2019S DAY: <\/b>Thank you to everyone who brought treats and\/or cards.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TEST GRADES: <\/b>Test grades in any class count double.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>How fitting the Meditations devotion was on Sunday, Feb. 10.\u00a0 I added it to our baptism birthday board.\u00a0 If your family uses Meditations you may have noticed it as well.\u00a0 Plans for our celebration of baptism birthdays are in the works.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is Sunday, March 2 at St. Stephen\u2019s during the 8:00 service.\u00a0 The kiddos will be sitting with you and coming up to sing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b>\u00a0 Our new mission will be for a starter congregation in Bend, Oregon.\u00a0 Our goal will once again be $500.\u00a0 Our total so far is $292.55 which is roughly 59% of our goal.\u00a0 We have $207.45 left to raise to meet our goal for blessing this mission.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>No tests this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

UNPLEASANT ODORS: <\/b>Our classroom has been quite odiferous this week.\u00a0 The smell is not from armpits or hair which will be up and coming as kiddos get older,\u00a0 but seems to be more in line with stinky feet and hopefully only gaseousness. I did talk to the kiddos about hygiene in kid speak.\u00a0 When I mentioned being sure to change socks, I did hear an \u201cOh\u2026\u201d quietly arise!\u00a0 Talking about changing unders usually only results in giggles and \u201cgross\u201d, so I\u2019ll let you handle that one.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP-TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop-top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL:<\/b> Student council has planned an ice cream fundraiser.\u00a0 When sending a dollar for your child, please send it in a labeled envelope or ziplock, etc.\u00a0 The order form may be included to kill two birds with one stone.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SNACKS: <\/b>Be sure your child is packing a snack.\u00a0 Please remind your kiddo that this is snack time and not meal time.\u00a0 Breakfast was only a few hours before, and lunch will be 2 hours later.\u00a0 Also, please check in on what is being packed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
