A fun week is ahead of us\u2013Spirit Week, 100th Day, and Valentine\u2019s Day.\u00a0 Wow!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VALENTINE\u2019S DAY: <\/b>We will be exchanging cards. Cards may be store bought or hand-made. \u00a0 Here is a class list so no one is accidentally forgotten.\u00a0 Rock, Kaitlyn, Lilly, Drew, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Jonas, Anabelle, Ezekiel, Ashlyn, Silas, Liam, Somaya, Harper, Kenzie, and Judah.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I will have a few treats for the kiddos. You may send a treat if you wish, but it is not required.\u00a0 This day will be busy with other activities, so there isn\u2019t a big party per se.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPIRIT WEEK: <\/b>Please refer to the note given to your child last week. It was sent in homework folder.\u00a0 Also, a digital copy should have been sent to families during the week through the school. If your daughter is a mini, she dresses in red shirt and black pants on Friday since the Minis will present the school song at Pep Fest. I am also planning on taking photos for the yearbook that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TEST GRADES: <\/b>Test grades in any class count double.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

OBSTACLES: <\/b>An extra page is included in the weekly folder that compiles what my kiddos and I responded to on a Christ-Light assignment.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll find it interesting.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>We are adding baptism dates to our birthday chart in our room.\u00a0 Please send a note or text informing me of your child\u2019s baptism day.\u00a0 We will be celebrating around the time of my baptism birthday.\u00a0 (<\/span>I have 14 baptism birthdays as of this typing.\u00a0 Thank you!)\u00a0 <\/b>If you have searched through photos, etc. and can\u2019t find the date, please let me know. Even a month would be great if you don\u2019t have the exact date.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is Sunday, March 2 at St. Stephen\u2019s during the 8:00 service.\u00a0 The kiddos will be sitting with you and coming up to sing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b>\u00a0 Our new mission will be for a starter congregation in Bend, Oregon.\u00a0 Our goal will once again be $500.\u00a0 Our total so far is $236.80 which is roughly 48% of our goal.\u00a0 Awesome.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>Tests are this Friday.\u00a0 Please practice at home using the copy that comes in the weekly folder.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP-TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop-top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL:<\/b> Student council will meet Monday, February 10, after school until 4 pm.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SNACKS: <\/b>Be sure your child is packing a snack.\u00a0 Also, please check in on what is being packed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
