Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We had a few delightful activities this week beyond the paper and pencil ones.\u00a0 Marshmallows were enjoyed in 2 different ways\u2013in cocoa and with toothpick creations.\u00a0 We began an online Math supplement called Happy Numbers. Your child may log in at home if they wish using info given out at school, but it is not mandatory.\u00a0 We did 2 Science experiments again.\u00a0 We briefly began bucket drumming for music by getting our hands on the sticks and beating out a beginning rhythm. (I\u2019m hoping to get photos on our Facebook page and Class Dojo of this week\u2019s fun.)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>We are adding baptism dates to our birthday chart in our room.\u00a0 Please send a note or text informing me of your child\u2019s baptism day.\u00a0 We will be celebrating around the time of my baptism birthday.\u00a0 (<\/span>I have 9 baptism birthdays as of this typing.\u00a0 Thank you!) <\/b>Did you catch Pastor Heyer preaching about this last Sunday tying into the Baptism of our Lord?<\/b> I wanted to raise my hand to say I\u2019m having my students are doing that too because of how important it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\u00a0 <\/b>The kiddos and I also discussed how to search out the baptism date by looking at photos which could still be in a phone or might have made it into an album or first year book. <\/b>Thanks!!<\/b><\/p>\n

CHURCH ATTENDANCE: <\/b>I am always excited to see my kiddos in worship. God is even more excited than me.\u00a0 I desire to see my kids for time and into eternity.\u00a0 God desires that even more.\u00a0 Let us all remember the words of <\/span>Psalm 122:1\u2013\u00a0 I was glad when they said to me, \u201cLet us go to the house of the Lord!\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Please also remember our theme verse for this quarter from <\/span>Joshua 25:15\u2013But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MEMORY WORK: <\/b>Memory work is still due Tuesday.\u00a0 Kiddos should have it in their homework folder, and you have a home copy.\u00a0 The verse is Psalm 118:1.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is Sunday, January 26.\u00a0 The kiddos will be sitting with you and coming up to sing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NO SCHOOL:<\/b> We\u00a0 have off this coming Monday, January 20.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION:<\/b>\u00a0 Our new mission will be for a starter congregation in Bend, Oregon.\u00a0 Our goal will once again be $500.\u00a0 Our total so far is $132.85 which is roughly 27% of our goal.\u00a0 Awesome.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>Tests are this Friday.\u00a0 Please practice at home using the copy that comes in the weekly folder.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP-TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop-top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

MAP TESTING: <\/b>Our next round of testing will be the last week of this month.<\/span><\/p>\n
