Happy New Year!! I hope you enjoyed a blessed Christmas with your family.\u00a0 May the celebration of our Savior\u2019s birth bring you continued joy in this new year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of celebrating our Savior\u2019s birth, our children give God the glory when they present the Children\u2019s Service. I do want to share with you, however, that I heard compliments about how well the third and fourth grade knew their parts.\u00a0 They made this \u201cmama\u201d proud, but more importantly\u2013they praised their Lord!!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Our next singing opportunity is on Sunday, January 26.\u00a0 The kiddos will be sitting with you and coming up to sing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NO SCHOOL: <\/b>There will be no school this coming Friday, January 10.\u00a0 We will have off on Monday, January 20, as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION: <\/b>We successfully met our goal for the UK and London.\u00a0 Thank you to everyone who gave of their blessings.\u00a0 Our new mission will be for a starter congregation in Bend, Oregon.\u00a0 Our goal will once again be $500.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SCIENCE: <\/b>We will be starting Science this next week.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL: <\/b>Stay tuned for our next meeting.\u00a0 Since our January faculty meeting may shift, this meeting may shift as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: No tests this week<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP-TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop-top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>We are adding baptism dates to our birthday chart in our room.\u00a0 Please send a note or text informing me of your child\u2019s baptism day.\u00a0 We will be celebrating around the time of my baptism birthday.\u00a0 (<\/span>I have 9 baptism birthdays as of this typing.\u00a0 Thank you!)<\/b><\/p>\n

MAP TESTING: <\/b>Our next round of testing will be the last week of this month.<\/span><\/p>\n
