Welcome to the final week of school in the year 2024.\u00a0 Blessings to you and your family as you continue to prepare your hearts and minds for the celebration of Jesus\u2019s birth.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>We sing tomorrow, Sunday, December 15,for the 10 am Advent Song service.\u00a0 <\/span>The children will be sitting together as a choir on that Sunday and need to be in the church by 9:10 am. to practice with the other choirs.<\/span> Then we sing the following Sunday, December 22, for the Christmas Service.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION: <\/b>We are now collecting for the World Mission in the UK.\u00a0 Our offering total for this mission is\u00a0 <\/span>$455.95.<\/span> That brings us to roughly\u00a0 91 % of our goal.\u00a0 We have one more offering opportunity for this quarter. Let\u2019s hit our goal and go beyond if possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>There won\u2019t be any tests this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

J for state book: <\/b>Refer to fast direct email and weekly folder for the letter J news.<\/span><\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>We are adding baptism dates to our birthday chart in our room.\u00a0 Please send a note or text informing me of your child\u2019s baptism day.\u00a0 We will be having a celebration around the time of my baptism birthday.\u00a0 (<\/span>I have 9 baptism birthdays as of this typing.\u00a0 Thank you!)<\/b><\/p>\n

CLASS PARTY: <\/b>On December 20 we\u2019ll have our Christmas party. <\/span>Food is taken care of. <\/span>This year, in the spirit of creativity and fun, I\u2019ve decided to do things a little differently. Instead of our usual gift exchange, I invite you to bring an item or activity the kids could enjoy at various times throughout the rest of the school year. Then you wrap it, and send it with your child with a tag that reads\u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

To: My class\u00a0 \u00a0 From:\u00a0 (Your child\u2019s name)<\/span><\/p>\n

At the party, your child will unwrap the classroom gift that will stay for us to enjoy!<\/span><\/p>\n

*a new game such as Jenga, The Fuzzies, Skipbo Card Game,\u00a0 Guess In 10 Card games, Moose Match, Mayhem card game<\/span><\/p>\n

*Ingredients for a pancake breakfast day or a hot cocoa party\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*A craft for the whole class to complete<\/span><\/p>\n

*Homemade coupon with an activity to be redeemed at a future date \u2013such as an ice cream party<\/span><\/p>\n

*New packs of playdoh<\/span><\/p>\n

*An assortment of non-perishable snacks for a surprise afternoon snack day.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Durable Mini Flashlights for \u201cRead by Flashlight\u201d fun.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Red Plastic Solo Shot Cups (The kiddos love stacking them to make different creations, and we don\u2019t have this size.)<\/span><\/p>\n
