Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This week is only a two day school week.\u00a0 This is new for us at St. Stephen\u2019s and new for me in my entire teaching career. Enjoy the extra time of thankfulness together.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>We sing again December 15 for the 10 am Advent Song service.\u00a0 The children will be sitting together as a choir on that Sunday. Then we sing the following Sunday, December 22, for the Christmas Service.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION: <\/b>We are now collecting for the World Mission in the UK.\u00a0 Our offering total for this mission is $316.05. That brings us to roughly 62% of our goal. Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SHOW & TELL:\u00a0 <\/b>Our classroom voted to have a show and tell day.\u00a0 This day will be this coming Tuesday, November 26. Please don\u2019t allow your child to bring anything alive.\u00a0 Whatever is brought also has to fit in a bag to be carried with your child.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>No tests this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CLASS DOJO: <\/b>Questions might have arisen in your mind about CLASS Dojo.\u00a0 I am primarily using it to post photos since not everyone is on St. Stephen\u2019s Facebook page.\u00a0 Quick reminder notes in addition to Fast Direct may also be sent. Class Dojo also allows ESL parents to have messages translated if need be.\u00a0 I\u2019m not doing badges or islands. etc for students.\u00a0 However, if you wish for your child to be able to send something my way, that is up to you.\u00a0 It is not required that your child be on it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STATE DRESS UP and FOOD TASTING:\u00a0 <\/b>For some extra classroom fun,\u00a0 we are planning to have a dress up day on December 6.\u00a0 Students dress up according to their states.\u00a0 For example, Texas dress could be that of rancher, cowboy, or with Mexican influence.\u00a0 Also, a food item from that state can be brought in on that day as well.\u00a0 (The food would only be shared with our class. Plan on 17 small tastes. <\/span>It may be homemade or store bought.<\/span><\/i>)\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0 This will be a fun way to end our regions units before we take a deeper dive into Wisconsin.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FOOD DRIVE: <\/b>Thank you to everyone who participated in the food drive.\u00a0 Our donations will bless the St. Vincent food pantry.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ART ON THE TOWN: <\/b>We had fun at Art on the Town.\u00a0 I posted photos to Facebook and DoJo.\u00a0 Art on the Town posted on their Facebook page as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

HARMONICA: <\/b>No homework for the harmonica this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

WET WIPES: <\/b>Please ask your child if he or she is in need of wet wipes.\u00a0 The wipes are stored at your kiddo\u2019s desk, so he or she would (should) know.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>We are adding baptism dates to our birthday chart in our room.\u00a0 Please send a note or text informing me of your child\u2019s baptism day.\u00a0 We will be having a celebration around the time of my baptism birthday.\u00a0 (<\/span>I have 6 baptism birthdays as of this typing..\u00a0 Thank you!)<\/b><\/p>\n
