Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The last full week of school for November is upon us.\u00a0 Blessings as you look ahead to Thanksgiving next week and the food, fun, and family it entails as we ponder our blessings.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>Many enjoyed Hold Me Savior last Sunday.\u00a0 It tied in wonderfully with Saints Truimphant Sunday.\u00a0 We sing again December 15 for the 10 am Advent Song service.\u00a0 Then we sing the following Sunday, December 22, for the Christmas Service.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION: <\/b>We are now collecting for the World Mission in the UK.\u00a0 Our offering total for this mission is $223.95. That brings us to roughly 45% of our goal. Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SHOW & TELL:\u00a0 <\/b>Our classroom voted to have a show and tell day.\u00a0 This day will be Tuesday, November 26.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPELLING TESTS: <\/b>Each child will receive a spelling list through the weekly folder.\u00a0 Your child will also have a homework folder copy.\u00a0 Please be sure they keep that one with their homework folder since we use it at school.\u00a0 Thanks.This week\u2019s test will be on Friday.\u00a0 Please study each night.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STATE DRESS UP and FOOD TASTING:\u00a0 <\/b>For some extra classroom fun,\u00a0 we are planning to have a dress up day on December 6.\u00a0 Students dress up according to their states.\u00a0 For example, Texas dress could be that of rancher, cowboy, or with Mexican influence.\u00a0 Also, a food item from that state can be brought in on that day as well.\u00a0 (The food would only be shared with our class. Plan on 17 small tastes.)\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0 This will be a fun way to end our regions units before we take a deeper dive into Wisconsin.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FOOD DRIVE: <\/b>The food drive continues this week. Any non-perishable items are accepted this week.\u00a0 Thanks for all the cereal last week.\u00a0 It has been neat to see the lower level collection boxes fill up and stack up.\u00a0 Let\u2019s bless others in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ART ON THE TOWN: <\/b>On this Wednesday, November 20, we will be walking to Art on the Town to have fun creating a painting.\u00a0 The plan is to be there by 1 and return to school by 3:00 pm.\u00a0 Funds for this are already in place.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

HARMONICA: <\/b>Harmonicas were sent home Friday.\u00a0 A paper with helpful hints to play The Barney Song was also given to your child and should be in his\/her homework folder.\u00a0 Your child is to practice at home during the week and return the harmonica and paper next Friday for class.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL: <\/b>Student council meets this coming Tuesday, November 19, after school until 4:00 pm. <\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

WET WIPES: <\/b>Please ask your child if he or she is in need of wet wipes.\u00a0 The wipes are stored at your kiddo\u2019s desk, so he or she would (should) know.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

POP TOP TABS:<\/b> My sister\u2019s school is collecting pop top tabs, monster tabs, etc. for a family using the Ronald McDonald House due to a serious injury of their son.\u00a0 If you aren\u2019t collecting these for any other reason, feel free to send them to our room, and I will get them to my sister. Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BAPTISM BIRTHDAYS: <\/b>We are adding baptism dates to our birthday chart in our room.\u00a0 Please send a note or text informing me of your child\u2019s baptism day.\u00a0 We will be having a celebration around the time of my baptism birthday.\u00a0 (<\/span>I have 5 baptism birthdays as of this typing..\u00a0 Thank you!)<\/span><\/p>\n
