Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Our first full week on campus went well.\u00a0 We had our first Children\u2019s Choir practice of the year with Mr. Barnett at the piano.\u00a0 Mr. Z came and spent extra time with the kiddos double-checking some Math or listening to reading.\u00a0 We had our first music and art class of the year. You should have heard about the harmonicas by now.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry, they\u2019re not coming home\u2013at least not yet!!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

SINGING: <\/b>We sing at Good Shepherd on Sunday, September 29, at the 9 a.m. service.\u00a0 Your child will sit with you and come up to sing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION: <\/b>Our presentation with Pastor Satorius went well and so did last Monday\u2019s offering. We have collected roughly 30% of our goal.\u00a0 Keep on blessing Project Timothy with your offerings.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK: <\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Please remember to check the assignment notebook each day and sign off at the bottom. Thanks. Some abbreviation clarifications are as follows:\u00a0 E=English, WW= Word Work, GW= God\u2019s Word, MW=Memory Work, H=handwriting, W= Writing, TT=Thrive Time.<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL: <\/b>Fourth graders who have turned in their permission forms for running for student council will receive their note about the letter of recommendation, poster, and speech.<\/span><\/p>\n

COLORING UTENSILS: <\/b>Please be sure you have a set of markers, crayons, and colored pencils at home should something that needs to be colored comes home.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

STATE FLOAT: <\/b>Keep on planning and\/or working on the float.\u00a0 Please be sure your child creates on the box topside, not upside down. (No wheels required.)\u00a0 The float is due <\/span>Nov 8, 2024<\/span>. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing all the creations.<\/span><\/p>\n
