\n<\/b>Grades K-8 sing on Sunday, September 15.\u00a0 Worship that day will be at Lakeview Park in Beaver Dam starting at 10:00.\u00a0 Following worship will be our church picnic and welcome for new teachers.\u00a0 Please bring a dish to pass.\u00a0 The main meal will be provided.\u00a0 If it rains, worship will be at church with the meal to follow in the basement.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/span>The gates of our parking lot are closed at 8:00 and are usually opened by 3:00.\u00a0 We ask that parents that arrive early be patient if the gates are closed or the lot is being used for recess\/P.E.\u00a0 We also ask that you pull as far forward as possible and come to get your child from the marked area, especially if they are under 3rd grade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/span>Please remember there is no parking along the building between the hours of 7:30 and 3:45.\u00a0 This has been designated by a double yellow line.\u00a0 This is our safe\/waiting zone for the children in the morning and evening. Please wait with your children inside the double yellow lines. Even if you are discussing something with a teacher, please be mindful of where your child is.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>We collected $44.00 at our opening service for the work of Project Timothy. <\/span>\u00a0We set a goal of $500.00 for our first quarter goal.\u00a0 Our last collection for this mission will be October 21.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>On Friday, September 13, Mr. Stephen Lauber will be visiting St. Stephen’s.\u00a0 Mr. Lauber is the recruitment director at Lakeside Lutheran High School.\u00a0 He comes to discuss secondary Christian education with the 8th graders around 12:45 and then with the entire school at 1:30.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>Fastdirect<\/span><\/a> will be the most used way to communicate daily with teachers. This will be for student progress and questions.\u00a0 It will also be a common way to set up appointments with your student\u2019s teacher.\u00a0 If you have issues with Fastdirect, please contact Mr. Schulz as soon as possible. <\/span>
\n<\/span>SSBDWELS.COM\/SCHOOL<\/span><\/a> is the schools website.\u00a0 All classroom, athletic, school updates will be posted here for future reference.\u00a0 You will get email notifications when items are posted to the site.<\/span>
\n<\/span>OneCall is the way many emergency and mass notifications will be sent out.\u00a0 You could get a text, email, phone call, or all if the situation warrants.\u00a0 Weekly school updates are sent via this method.<\/span>
\n<\/span>All these methods are great, but personal interactions are always the best.\u00a0 Please, if there are concerns or comments you wish to make with your child\u2019s teacher, please work out a way to talk face-to-face.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Tuition\/Fees:<\/b>
\n<\/b>If your family needs to pay their 1st round of installment payments, please do so by the 15th of this month.\u00a0 This would only apply to those families who were not able to pay their first installment during Orientation\/Registration.\u00a0 Starting in October, statements will be coming home with students to families with fees due.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>Registration Open: The Junior Lady Warriors basketball club is open to all girls attending grades 5-8 at one of our Lakeside Federation Lutheran elementary schools; note: 8th graders should have the desire to enroll at Lakeside for high school; club involvement is not intended to replace participation on Lutheran elementary school teams. Two Sunday tryout sessions have been scheduled at Lakeside: September 22 and September 29, 2024, both from 6-8 pm.
