Welcome to the first week of school.\u00a0 God\u2019s blessings to you as we work together to educate your child for time and eternity by impressing God\u2019s Word on his or her heart!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some\u00a0 tidbits for the week:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SHORT WEEKS: <\/b>\u00a0<\/b>This week and next will be shorter weeks due to Labor Day Weekend.\u00a0 We have off this Friday and next Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MISSION: <\/b>Our mission offerings for this year will also be divided among the four quarters and will be collected during Monday morning chapel.\u00a0 An envelope will be sent home in the weekly folder for the upcoming week\u2019s chapel. The first one is to support Luther Prep\u2019s Project Timothy which assists the high school students with ministry trips.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

WEEKLY FOLDER:<\/b> \u00a0<\/span>I send weekly folders on Monday (or the first school day of the week). The church attendance page, classroom or school notes, and corrected papers will be enclosed. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK: <\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Please remember to check the assignment notebook each day and sign off.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FIELD TRIP: <\/b>Camp Phillip forms were out at registration.\u00a0 Please be sure to return them sooner than later.\u00a0 Remember, our trip is next Thursday and Friday, September 5th and 6th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL: <\/b>Fourth graders will be asked if they would like to participate in student council this year.\u00a0 If so, more information will be forthcoming.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
